Main responsibilities
- Organising welding production according to the work sequence: ensuring completion of production tasks, preventing unjustified downtime, effective allocation of personnel and efficient management of documentation.
- Quality: reducing internal non-conformities and rework, preventing systematic defects, carrying out inspection activities properly and promptly correcting identified deficiencies.
- Inventory management (Kanban): proper management of shop-floor stock and timely submission of replenishment requests to the preparation department for required items.
- Order and discipline: ensuring the work area is kept in proper condition, correct storage of parts and finished products, and supervision of workplace housekeeping.
- Safety: mandatory use of PPE, checking tools and equipment for proper condition, compliance with rules for handling gas cylinders and lifting equipment, keeping access routes clear, and complying with other critical safety requirements.
- Active participation in the company's certification in accordance with ISO standards.
What we expect
- Practical experience in welding production and managing a welding department.
- Experience leading a team of welders, allocating tasks and monitoring execution of the production plan.
- Good knowledge of welding technologies, technical drawings and production documentation.
- Ability to inspect welding quality, identify defects and organise corrective actions.
- Ability to organise production operations efficiently and minimise downtime.
- Knowledge and practical experience of 5S, Kanban and Lean principles.
- Experience monitoring materials, inventory and workplace housekeeping.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety and production safety requirements.
- Ability to lead a team effectively and maintain work discipline.
- Responsibility, strong organisational skills and the ability to resolve production issues quickly.
- Willingness to participate in ISO certification and continuous improvement of production processes.
- Experience with welding robots is an advantage.
- Russian and/or Estonian language skills for communication with employees and management.
Working hours and pay
- Salary from €2,500 gross per month.
